Cada casamento que eu já fotografei é único para mim, mas as fotos desse post são especiais por uma razão diferente: elas são todas da temporada que passei em Portugal, em junho desse ano. Destaco estas que foram feitas nesta floresta, próxima de Sintra - não tem coisa que me deixe mais feliz do que encontrar um cenário incrível como esse e pensar que essas fotos farão parte da vida da Sônia e do Bruno para sempre. A chuva de pétalas na saída da cerimônia da Marta e do Ricardo. A emoção dos convidados ao verem que a cerimônia teria um interprete em libras para que pudessem acompanhar tudo. E que tal dirigir um conversível pelas estradas maravilhosas de Porto, assim como a Alda e o Pedro? Demais! Também adoro quando os casais entram no clima e topam fazer aquele first look.
E ainda mais do que isso, elas representam todas as pessoas que conheci nesta temporada, aos meu queridos Felipe Damaceno, João Almeida, André Henriques, José Santos, todos que confiaram no meu trabalho e me ajudaram para que essas fotos acontecessem. Muito obrigado mesmo. Sem vocês nenhuma dessas fotos teria acontecido. Não só tive a oportunidade de conhecer lugares incríveis, praias, florestas, lindas igrejas, pessoas maravilhosas, mas pude também vivenciar tudo isso, trocar experiências, isso é realmente algo inestimável.
Cada lembrança e cada aprendizado ficaram comigo para sempre e com certeza vão me ajudar no meu crescimento profissional e pessoal, cada dia mais. Essas com toda certeza não são as melhores fotos de casamento do mundo, mas pra mim elas são mais do que isso, representam momentos inesquecíveis, pessoas incríveis, lugares maravilhosos, e com certeza so tornarão mas do que lembranças, mas sim histórias de alegrias para esses casais.
Each wedding that I’ve ever photographed is unique for me, but the pictures in this specific post are special for me for a different reason: they’re all from the weeks I spent in Portugal, in june. I highlight these that were made in this forest, near Sintra - nothing makes me happier than to find an amazing scenery like this and to think that these photos will be part of the life of Sonia and Bruno forever. Or the rain of petals in the wedding ceremony of Marta and Ricardo. The excitement of the guests when they saw that the ceremony would have a signs language interpreter so they could keep track of everything. And how about driving a convertible through the beautiful roads of Porto just like Alda and Pedro? Awesome! I also love when couples are so easy going and want to shoot that first look.
And even more than that, these pictures represent all the people I met this season: my dearests Felipe Damaceno, João Almeida, André Henriques, José Santos, who trusted my work and helped me to get these pictures. Thank you very much. Without you, none of these photos would have happened. I had the opportunity to visit amazing places, beaches, forests, beautiful churches and to meet wonderful people - and more, I could also experience it, exchange experiences, it was really priceless.
Each memory and each thing I’ve learnt will stay with me forever and this will surely help me in my professional and personal growth, every day. These surely are not the world's best wedding photos, but for me they are more than that, they represent unforgettable moments, amazing people, wonderful places, and certainly they'll become more than memories, but stories of happiness to these couples.
